Human Right Activist and Convener of Concerned Nigeria, Deji Adeyanju, who was attacked on Monday in Abuja has been flown outside the country for medical treatment.
Deji was attacked by Hoodlums suspected to be hired thugs during a protest tagged #FreedomRally in front of the National Human Rights Commission.
In a video that flooded the social media, Deji was seen being brutalized by the hoodlums chanting ‘Sai Baba’ while security operatives watched doing nothing.
Confirming the incident, concerned Nigerians in a statement wrote; “Our convener, @adeyanjudeji was earlier this evening flown abroad for medical treatment. Kindly put him in your prayers”.
