The national coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV)- the initiative of the Inspector General of police, IGP ADAMU, CSP Ebere Amaraizu has been honoured as an Ambassador for Peace.
The award was given to the POCACOV boss at the second edition of Peace and security summit of United Nation peace Ambassadors Award held at Bervely hills hotels G.R.A Port Harcourt, Rivers state and organized by ogbakor ikwerre youth council of Nigeria in conjunction with Global forum for peace, justice and human Rights.
Global forum for Peace, Justice and Human Rights said they acknowledge as ambassadors of peace; those individuals whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices which promotes universal moral value, strong family life, inter-religion cooperation, international harmony, a responsible public Media and establishment of culture of peace and CSP Amaraizu isn’t lacking any of the virtues.
The organizers commended the POCACOV initiative of the inspector General of police IGP Mohammed Abubakar ADAMU aimed at saving the youth from the claws of cultism and other vices which they said has started yielding the desired result in Rivers State and beyond.
