As part of measures towards deepening the campaign message and awareness on cultism and other vices in the country, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices, POCACOV, has entered into strong partnership and collaboration with a Nollywood firm known as StanWorld Media Venture.
The partnership will see the movie production firm producing short skits, movies on cultism, substance abuse, associated violence and other vices and the inherent dangers and the need to say no to them in order to be a champion.
The partnership was disclosed to JOURNALIST101 by the National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP, Ebere Amaraizu who spoke with our correspondent on Monday, 17th February, 2020 at IGP, Mohammed Abubakar ADAMU POCACOV resource Centre, Enugu after his meeting with the chief executive officer of StanWorld media ventures Amb Stanley Okoronkwo who was on a partnership visit to the Centre.
According to the POCACOV national coordinator, Csp Ebere Amaraizu; “POCACOV shall be partnering with StanWorld media ventures to intensify the campaign in the country through the production of skits, movies, adverts and jingles.
We must use any available platform to sensitize our people so that we can get it right,” he said.
The chief executive officer of StanWorld, Amb Stanley Okoronkwo and his group commended the Inspector General of police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar ADAMU for the laudable initiate of POCACOV which is aimed at saving our youth from the claws of cultism and other vices and pledged his support to ensure that all hands are on deck for the message to spread to communities and states.
