Nigeria coronavirus cases is about to hit the 3,000 mark as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announces one hundred and forty eight (148) new infections in the country.
According to the centre, 43 of the cases were recorded in Lagos, 32 in Kano, 14 in Zamfara, 10 in FCT, 9 in Katsina, 7 in Taraba, 6 in Borno and Ogun while 5 was reported in Oyo state.
Also, 3 new cases were confirmed in Edo, Kaduna and Bauchi, Adamawa and Gombe 2 cases each and Plateau, Sokoto and Kebbi has 1 each.
The total confirmed cases are 2950, 481 Discharged and 98 Deaths.
