Less than 5 hours after Appeal Court upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party has named Senator Abiola Ajimobi as acting national chairman.
Ajimobi has functioned as the National Deputy Chairman South of the party.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu said the elevation was in line with constitution of the party.
