All is set for the official flag off of the distribution of Agricultural inputs to 2,000 vulnerable farmers identified across the 17 local government areas of the state for dry season farming.
The event which is taking place at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, is sponsored by Enugu State Government under the World Bank Assisted CARES Programme, identified across the 17 local government areas of the state.
The initiative is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and stimulating rural economy.
The agricultural inputs include cassava stem, rice seed, fertilizer and herbicides.
