Following the successful 60th Birthday celebration of popular veteran actor, John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, the host and CEO of Ice Diamond Entertainment, Comr. Monday Diamond, has applauded Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for his tremendous support towards the historical success of the event.
Speaking to newsmen in the early hours of Monday, Diamond thanked the governor for his love and support towards the Nollywood legend which, according to him, richly contributed to the success of the event.
“Governor Ugwuanyi is a lover of mankind, he made John Okafor understand that he is largely appreciated and celebrated by Ndi Enugu. No wonder the event recorded thousands of audience and guests,” he said.
Diamond commended the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, PDP national youth leader Rt. Hon. Udeh Okoye, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Ugonna Ibe, Rt. Hon. Chima Obieze, Dr Felix Ndukwe and other dignitaries for their support as well as the mammoth crowd who trouped in to celebrate John Okafor in a grand style. He also thanked those who made financial donations.
