The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) has consolidated on its partnership with ESMIC international limited an official advertising partner to POCACOV and together with its partners in the likes of Partners Maverick Equinox Limited, a public relations and advertising professionals as well as Max Edge, a marketing consultant, all located in Lagos Nigeria for a robust messaging that will bring about effective social change campaign to eradicate cultism and other vices in our community.
The consolidation was made shortly after a presentation by ESMIC International and partners made on 22/11/2020 at the conference room of MAX EDGE at Imaria Street Anthony Village, Lagos on the modalities in place to strenghten POCACOV message through effective social campaign that will cut across the use of outdoor and social media and other grassroot campaign mechanism.
In his presentation, Uzoma Onwuchekwa, the Managing Director Maverick Equinox Limited lauded the efforts of the Inspector General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force for coming up with POCACOV initiative which is aimed at adding value to the society through value reorientation and sensitization.
He also commended the untiring efforts of the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu towards the initiative and pointing out that having closely monitored POCACOV activities on both the Conventional and social media, there was also need for Maverick, Maxedge to work with ESMIC intl and collaborate to support POCACOV in order to achieve on its mandate through the use of bill board, effective messaging using social media and other grassroot mechanism and supporting their partnership with an old African adage that it takes a village to raise a community, meaning that POCACOV requires strong support and collaboration of the community.
In his presentation, the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu, thanked Esmic Intl and partners for identifying with POCACOV and agreeing to help POCACOV achieve more and maintained that POCACOV as a community driven program of the Nigeria Police Force Under IGP mohammed Abubakar Adamu is structured to work with different stakeholders as policing is everybody’s responsibility and that campaign against cultism and other vices requires partnership and collaboration of all and sundry which is a community oriented policing ingredients.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ESMIL International Chief Mike Nwadiora appreciated the efforts of the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu and the Nigeria Police Force for coming up with a wonderful initiative which has gradually spread to all the nooks and cranies and assured on behalf of Max Edge and Maverick of a robust partnership to send the message to the nook and cranies.
Highlight of the presentation was the handing over of Social Change Campaign Action Plan booklet to eradicate cultism and other vices to the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu by Chief Mike Nwadiora and Partners for necessary action.
