The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. ACB Agbazuere has been suspended by the Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
Though no reason was given for his suspension but it might not be unconnected to the viral video of the Chief of Staff spraying money on the popular Pastor Chukwuemeka popularly known as Prophet Odumeje.
In a press statement signed by Barr Chris Ezem, the Secretary to the State Government, the suspension is with immediate effect.
“The Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, will perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice,” the statement added.
The video has been raising a lot of criticism in the media as it was done in the office of the Chief of Staff and this might have led to his suspension.
