The Member Representing Ezeagu Constituency at Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Barr. Chima Obieze has concluded arrangements to offer free transportation service for the people he represents at the House.
According to the schedule, the Ezeagu densely populated Abakpa will be one of the pick-up points at the Popular Entraco Park, Abakpa Nike, Enugu.
Another designated point is at Avie Fueling Station, New Market, Enugu and the dates for the free ride are 23rd and 24th December, 2020.
The gesture, the Lawmaker said is one of the ways he wishes to use to mitigate the effects of the economic realities confronting some members of his Constituent especially during this festive season.
“I understand the import of traveling to Christmas for our people and I’m also aware that the economic hardship occasioned by the outbreak of COVID-19 will make it difficult if not impossible for a lot of them to travel.
“Lifting the burden of transportation off some of them will make it easier for them to see their loved ones this yuletide and this is my own little way of Wishing my People a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” Obieze said.
