A popular Delta state-born comedian and artiste, Akpobasahan Ovuokeroye Samuel(O.V Kings) alias MC Alleluya D Comedian, has concluded modalities for his first ever community driven activities in realization of POCACOV Self Discovery Program for youth value reorientation, engagement and strategic leadership direction.
This was made known on Thursday by the National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) from the IGP M.A Adamu Pocacov Resource Centre, Enugu while reacting on the essence of the program by the Delta state born notable Comedian/Artiste and who also is an Ambassador to Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV).
According to Amaraizu, “MC Alleluya is a Pocacov Ambassador and he understands the program content of year 2021 for POCACOV and that is #Self Discovery which is in line with the presidential vision and direction on youth development and empowerment for greater nation, is geared towards exposing young minds to those veritable skills like life coping, manipulative and entrepreneural skills which will help create a platform of self discovery and engagement for greater society.
“It is in line with the realization of the goals of public safety and security framework of the Nigeria Police Force under IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu using community oriented policing approaches.
“In this activity which is proudly supported by Vals Entertainment Production, designed free and billed to take place on 13th February, 2021 at African Tarvan Opposite Metro fuelling station, Ughelli Delta state, will expose participants to the skills of acting, script writing, movie production, film editing, phone repairs, event management, cinamatography, comedy, mentoring, master of ceremony amongst others.”
POCACOV is the initiative of the Nigeria Police Force under IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu structured in line with the tenets of Community Oriented Policing(C.O.P) to involve different stakeholders and galvanizing their support towards addressing issues bothering on public safety and security and also saving Nigerian children and youths from the claws of cultism and other vices through advocacy, awareness creation/sensitization, mentoring and reorientation leading to youths value orientation, engagement and strategic leadership direction.
Self Discovery is a program of action of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) linked to the Public Safety and Security Framework of the Nigeria Police Force.
