Dr Ben Nwoye raising his membership slip after completing his registration

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Enugu State All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Ben Nwoye has revalidated his membership of the party at his country home, Amurri, in Nkanu West local government area of Enugu State.

The exercise which took place at his polling unit, Afianwakpaka, Amurri ward was witnessed by Senator Jonathan Zwingina, the Chairman of the Enugu State registration Committee.

Sen. Zwingina expressed joy over the turn out of the people of Amurri to witnessed the event saying that “the happiness on the faces of the people showed genuine love for APC” and “no wonder the chairman of the party in Enugu state is from here.”

He applauded the stakeholders of the APC in Enugu for the understanding they demonstrated during their meeting which led to the restoration of lasting peace in the party in the state.

He also called on the people of Enugu State to come out and join the party as “APC is open for everyone to join” expressing confidence that “Enugu APC will register the largest number of people for the party across the country,” while calling on the members of the party to continue to support their chairman, Dr. Barr. Ben Nwoye.

Speaking after revalidating his membership of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye said he’s delighted to have the committee led by Senator Zwingina whom he said” is restoring democracy in the country as they did in 1993 when they campaigned for the emergence of MKO Abiola in an election adjudged to be the fairest election in Nigeria history.”

Dr Nwoye called on his people and Enugu State in general to come out and join the APC as that’s the first step in political participation, pointing out that APC has been very fair to their people both in infrastructure and political appointments and their community is one of the biggest beneficiaries.

He charged the people of Enugu to “jettison other political platforms because they are sinking ships and join the APC where they will be welcomed with all sincerity.”
