The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) through the IGP M.A Adamu Pocacov Resource Centre has developed a module which will engage its Ambassadors made up of reputable artistes, comedians, actors/actress and make them participate more in a POCACOV community driven program for a healthy society, healthy young minds and which will help in the value reorientation and self discovery.
This was made known by the National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV), CSP Ebere Amaraizu while reacting on the essence of the community driven program and the developed modules on the activity at the IGP M.A Adamu Pocacov Resource Centre Enugu on 24/2/2021.
According to the National Coordinator of POCACOV, “the activity tagged ‘PEACE AND LOVE CAMPAIGN’ is for safer school and community and for healthy youth. It will come in form of comedy, musical shows and ofcourse exhibitions by broad spectrum of POCACOV Ambassadors drawn amongst reputable actor/actress, artiste and comedians.
“In the activity, the contributions and services of the POCACOV/NYSC community development service (POCACOV/NYSC CDS) will be utilized with a view to deepening the activity as a community driven program.
“Why crime and criminality as well as acrimony and violence thrive is because there is no peace and love which gives joy and attract development amongst other things. POCACOV will work with different stakeholders and galvanize their support in this activity to promote peace, love and oneness for a safe and secured society as well as self discovery.”
