A student group known as the House of Parliament Student Union Government (S.U.G) Enugu State College of Education(Technical), has extolled the efforts of the National Coordinator of POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu on issues revolving around youth value reorientation, self discovery and strategic leadership direction.
The Student Union body equally commended the Nigeria Police Force and appreciated the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu on the POCACOV initiative of the Nigeria Police Force under his watch.
The group disclosed this on Tuesday at the IGP M.A Adamu Pocacov Resource Centre, Enugu during their visit to the centre.
According to the leader of the delegation and the immediate past president of the Student Union Government of the institution, Comrade Emegwa Onyebuchi in company of the Speaker and leader of the parliament of the Student Union Government, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Gabriel, they visited the Centre to appreciate the untiring efforts of POCACOV and to commend the Inspector General of Police on POCACOV Initiative and to invite POCACOV as one of their panelists in their upcoming legislative summit in the school tagged “Changing the narratives in student Unionism through effective legislation.”
Responding, the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu thanked the student union body executives and assured that POCACOV will continue to work with different stakeholders and to galvanize their support to aid in getting to the root of the crime especially cultism and other vices and to ensure that there is effective youth value reorientation, self discovery and strategic leadership direction.
