…Confesses their love for the governor and the state spurred them to volunteer for the home-to-home community health outreach initiative
The GburusCare Initiative no doubt thrives on the strength of the volunteer services of health and medical professionals to live up to it’s mandate of driving health awareness to rural areas and also tending to the health needs of senior citizens.
The Health professionals who devoted their time and energy to move down to different localities in Enugu state explained that the GburusCare platform has become a platform for them to contribute to the advancement of humanity, the state and also actionably express their love for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Speaking during a meeting with The State Governor, The Director General of the GburusCare Initiative, Sct. Darlington Ugwuegbe commended the governor for his rural development drive.
“Our days of sojourn to the rural areas have widely opened our eyes to the huge impact your Government has made on the lives of the Enugu people. Communities that hitherto do not have roads, now have good motorable roads. We confess that this has also helped to make our journey and outreach seamless.
According to the Director General of the Initiative, the volunteers are motivated by their love for Gov. Ugwuanyi and the state and also by their lifetime commitment to the advancement of humanity.
The team commended the governor for the building and renovation of health centers across many communities and maintained that the home to home care for aged people is in no way an addition or a replacement for health centers. According to him, it is a special love package for old people.
