Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has ordered his men to get ready to repel any possible attack from the Nigerian Army in Imo state.

Imo state has recently been thrown into garb of insecurity, following gunmen attack on the state police headquarters and the custodial center, even as the Imo state commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), Ikonso, was gunned down by security agents last week.

Taking to his Twitter handle to issue the order in an alert to his members, Kanu said the drone of the Army were sighted hovering in some parts of the state.

“There is confirmed report of sightings of @HQNigerianArmy drone over Mbaise, Mbano & Obowo with many Hilux Vans moving into these areas right now.

“Men MUST be at alert to repel these terrorists in uniform. IMO State is the battle ground. We must defend our land!,” he tweeted.
