David Hindeyin, the journalist that did a deep investigation into the brutal murder of Akwa Ibom job seeker; Iniubong Umoren has revealed that the press conference done by the Akwa Ibom police command was stage managed.
The police earlier today, paraded the suspect, Akpan Uduak Frank who has confessed to murdering the University of Uyo Philosophy graduate.
Akpan had told journalists that he “invited her for a job and I asked her whether she can work in a farm as secretary.
“When she arrived, I told her that their was no farm that the entire farm thing was a hoax. As she wanted to go, I told her I want to sleep with her first. She agreed on a condition that I will use condom which I also agreed to. She became furious when I started removing the condom, and she attacked me. I was bleeding so I needed to defend myself by hitting her which lead to her death,” he said.
But David writing via his twitter account said: “They staged that press conference to strategically misdirect you in a certain direction.
“Kufre Effiong is the central figure, not Frank Akpan. And Kufre Effiong is a protocol officer who works in @Senator_Akpabio’s office at @MNDA_Ng.

“Kufre Effiong is the key to unraveling the whole tangle of who orders Frank Akpan to do the abductions and killings and who buys the human parts from him.

“If you can’t find Kufre Effiong, ask @Senator_Akpabio. He will produce him.”
David also offered a cash reward for anyone that could get him a picture of Kufre Effiong in the ministry of Niger Delta.
“Oh, and BTW I challenge @Senator_Akpabio to deny that Kufre Effiong works as one of his protocol managers.
“If he denies it, I have N30,000 for anyone who will provide a photo of Kufre Effiong at the Federal Secretariat where he spends most of his time in Abuja.
“He is well known.”
