Mrs. Oluchi Orji, the wife of one of the victims killed by the police inspector called has narrated how the husband was killed in cold blood on Sunday morning.
The mother of four children said she traveled for burial from where she got a phone call Sunday morning that her husband, late Ndubueze Orji has been killed by the police officer guarding their neighbor’s compound.
The widow said she was told by neighbours that “the inspector started killing everybody in the home of the RIS Lotto boss located at Golf Estate in Enugu State. He shot the cook who later survived and begun to shoot every other person inside the compound and later entered the street to shoot people insight.”
Emotionally broke Oluchi Orji said when the shooting seems to be calm, her husband, Mr. Nnabueze Orji she learnt went out to buy detergent to wash his kid’s clothes. On sighting the Inspector, he approached him to find out about the shooting, without knowing that he was speaking with the person responsible for the shootings; hence the Inspector pointed the gun at him and wasted no time in loading his intestine with bullets.
The young widow who was sobbing uncontrollably called for help as she’s unemployed and has no means of taking care of the four children left behind by her late husband.
