The wife, children and maids of Yoruba secessionist leader, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho have been released in Ekiti, Dailysun reports.
His family members were allegedly kidnapped during the bloody attack at his residence in Oyo State earlier today.
The Department of State Services (DSS) is said to have deposited the corpses of the dead persons killed in an attack on the Yoruba Nation leader at a morgue. They reportedly went away with others, according to reports.
Also, THEPUNCH is reporting that Operatives of the Department of State Services carried out the midnight attack at the home of Mr. Igboho.
A top security source, who pleaded anonymity because he wasn’t authorised to speak on the matter, told The PUNCH on Thursday that the secret police operated in Sunday Igboho’s residence in Ibadan on Thursday morning.
“The DSS operated in his (Sunday Igboho) house in Ibadan on Thursday morning,” the security source confided in our correspondent.
The source, however, could not give details on whether Igboho was arrested or whether any of his aides were arrested or killed during the raid.
Efforts to speak with DSS Spokesman, Peter Afunaya, the newspaper said, proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
