Former aide to erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has disagreed with Igbos that criticise with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, publicly.
Omokri, who’s also an author wondered why Igbos should be “rubbishing” Nnamdi Kanu when no Northerner have come to condemn killer herdsman.
Kanu’s arrest was announced a week today by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami. This has generated a lot of mixed reactions with people like Joe Igbokwe, rejoicing over the arrest.
But Omokri in a tweet on Monday said: “Nnamdi Kanu may be very annoying and brash. But my question to Ndi’Igbo is this: How many Northerners, including their leaders like Buhari and Sultan, have come out to rubbish killer herdsmen the way you rubbish Kanu?”
