Former minister of aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said that those trying to destroy the peace currently being enjoyed In Enugu State, South East Nigeria will be disgraced.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain made the comment in reaction to the gruesome murder of of Professor Sam Ndubuisi.
Prof Sam Ndubuisi, who until his death, was the the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Scientific Equipment Development Initiative, SEDI. He was assassinated by unknown gunmen along the Enugu Port-Harcourt Expressway, very close to the centenary city on Wednesday, 7th July.
Chief Fani-Kayode also said that Enugu State under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has been the most peaceful.
“The murder of Prof. Samuel Ndubuisi in Enugu was utterly shocking and I condemn it. Under the leadership of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Enugu has been one of the most peaceful states in the federation over the last few years.
“Those trying to shatter that peace shall be put to shame,” he tweeted.
