The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, Prof George Obiozor has described the Governor of Enugu State, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as a very disciplined leader who possesses high level of intellectual prowess.
The President of the apex Igbo Organization made this statement, on Saturday, when the Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Culture and Tourism, Hon Monday Diamond Ani paid him a courtesy visit in his Office, at the National Headquarters of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, GRA, Enugu.
While interacting with the former Ambassador of Nigeria to the United States, the State of Israel and Cyprus Republic, Hon Monday Diamond Ani commended the Ohaneze Ndigbo President for the manner he has piloted the affairs of the Organization just as his predecessor, Chief Nnia Nwodo did.
Comr. Ani seized the opportunity to highlight some of the numerous developmental and transformational projects of the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi which cuts across all sectors of life, and also shared ideas with him on some possible epoch making programs underway.
In his reaction, Prof Obiozor commended the Governor’s aide for his proactiveness in youth activities in South East and beyond which he has followed keenly over time, and also heartily eulogized the Governor of Enugu State, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his leadership style which has entrenched peace, security and unity in the state.
In his words; “Extend my greetings to the Governor of Enugu State, your boss. He is an academician, very Intelligent and a disciplined leader. his peace mantra is unique and next none.”
The highpoint of the visit was the presentation of the book titled OHANEZE NDIGBO WORLDWIDE; THE JOURNEY SO FAR written by the accomplished diplomat to the Governor’s aide, Hon Monday Diamond Ani and a youth leader Comr Dominic Udeobasi.
