The former Senator that represented Kogi West senate, Dino Melaye, has expressed dissatisfaction with the repeated cancellation of his interview with one of Nigeria’s popular television stations; AriseTV.
The television station gained acceptance following its unbiased assessment of national issues in Nigeria at a time most Nigerians were losing confidence in many popular stations.
The station came under serious scrutiny following their interview of the president Muhammadu Buhari after almost 5 years the president had a media chat. A lot of people praised them for asking questions about brining issues in the country while some persons felt otherwise and criticised the media outfit for having a recorded session with the president which they said, didn’t give them the opportunity to see the unscripted responses of the president.
In a recent development, Dino Melaye who has been vocal in pointing out the many failures of the present administration said the station just cancelled another interview scheduled with him for “situation beyond control,” and promised not to honour any of their invitations going forward.
“I have just been called that situation beyond control, that my interview on Arise will not hold again.
“This is the 2nd time this is happening. We know what is happening and l will not honour any call from Arise TV again.
“It is a shame,” he tweeted.
