A former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife has been appointed to lead the delegation of the apex Igbo sociocultural organisation; Ohanaeze Ndigbo to monitor the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Kanu’s trial is expected to to continue tomorrow, 26th July 2021 at Federal High Court, Abuja after he was rearrested at Kenya and returned to Nigeria in June.
Professor George Obiozor, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, also Joseph Ojobu, national legal adviser of Ohanaeze and Goddy Uwazurike, a lawyer to be in the delegation and they will be representing Ohanaeze Ndigbo on a watching brief.
