Shehu Sani and Fr. Mbaka

A former senator who represented Kaduna Central at the eighth Senate, Shehu Sani, on Monday tweeted that he correctly prophesied that ex-Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, would quit the club following his hesitation to sign a new contract.

The former lawmaker also credited his new art of accurate prophecy to his ‘friend’, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, in Enugu State.

According to Sani, he was able to tread where others fear to go, as far as football prediction is concerned because he has succeeded in learning the rope from his mentor, Mbaka.

Recall that the diminutive player broke down in tears when he wanted to bid farewell to the fans at a press conference on Saturday.

The Argentine spent 21 years with Barcelona, a club he claims will always be in his heart.

After his exit at the weekend, Barcelona defender, Gérard Pique, said the club has been hurt majorly by the departure of their captain.

“The team was a bit broken because of Messi’s departure. We’ve lost the best player of all time. It has hurt us and it hurt him too,” he said.

He said in a tweet, “I prophesied the movement of Messi to @PSG_English, I’m learning accurate predictions from my friend Father Mbaka.”
