There’s serious tension at the Enugu secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC as armed thugs invaded their office.
Our reporter who was at the party’s secretariat where the State Caretaker Committee of the party, Dr Ben Nwoye was briefing newsmen on the preliminary report of investigation and disciplinary Committee on the disappearance of result sheets for Enugu Ward Congresses.
Journalists covering the events scampered for safety but the camera of Television Continental, TVC and that of Nigeria Television Authority, NTA was seized by the fierce looking thugs.
This is the latest twist in the fallout of the ward Congresses of the APC which even the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC said there was no result sheet for the ward congresses.
As at the time of this report, those behind this heinous act can’t be ascertained and the Enugu APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ben Nwoye is yet to comment on the development.
The camera belonging to NTA has been returned to them but TVC is yet to get their Camera back.
