Journalist101 has learnt that our earlier report which said that militants suspected to be members of the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers attacked Nigerian Navy personnel deployed to a waterways security vessel in Bayelsa State ISN’T TRUE.
The video clip which was attached to the earlier report was not a shootout but actually a Military drill. The entire scenario was simulated to show the Navy’s tactical response to hostage situations.
The military drill which was demonstrated on August 4th, 2021 is called ‘OPERATION FALCON FURY’.
