The Members of Enugu State House of Assembly are currently in Kigali, Rwanda for an exchange programme with Rwanda parliamentarians.
While in Kigali, Enugu Lawmakers will be interacting with the Right Honorable Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Rwanda where they will interact on the Functioning of the Parliament of Rwanda as well as that of Enugu State.
During the visit, the Representative of the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) will be making a presentation on Reconstruction, best practices in Leadership, good governance and reconciliation process in Rwanda after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi to the lawmakers.
Also, the Representative of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) will speak with Lawmakers on promoting accountability, transparency and judicious management of public resources.
Before their return to the country, they will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi and Museum for the Campaign against Genocide at Parliament.
