The Zamfara police command says 50 residents of Goran Namaye town in Maradun LGA of Zamfara state have been abducted.
Muhammad Shehu, the public relations officer of the Zamfara police command, confirmed the incident on Monday.
He said four persons were also killed during the attack which took place around midnight on Sunday.
It is the third reported attack in a Zamfara community in the past week.
