…To set up more Centres in due time
As part of the drive to complement the good efforts of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in encouraging INEC Continuous Voter’s Registration and subsequent election participation of the general public, the Forum of Special Assistants to the Governor from Enugu East Senatorial Zone, following her several weeks of INEC CVR ‘Sensitization Tours’, has established 10 Online Registration Centres in four urbanized Local Government Areas of Enugu East Senatorial Zone.
These LGAs and the Centres includes but not limited to;
Enugu North LGA
1. Obiagu Field Afia 9.
2. OMATA Secretariat,Ogbete.
Good Shepherd, Anglican Communion,Agric Bustop, Independence Layout.
Enugu North LGA

Enugu East LGA

8. Christ Ascension Church, Ugwuaji
Nkanu West LGA
9. Awkunanaw Dev Center, Akpasha, Akegbeugwu.
10. Orie-mba Market, Akpugo
The forum also disclosed that talks are underway with the Executive Chairman of Nkanu East LGA to embark on Sensitization Tour in the area and subsequently establish an online Registration Centres in the council.
They also called on the residents of the areas highlighted above to go and do their online registration which is a process of becoming an active citizen of the nation.
Also, the Forum has engaged trained Ad-hoc staff that will be at the various centres to guide anyone that wishes to start the online process.
They also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Enugu State for their cooperation and guidance towards this civic exercise as well as the individuals who have voluntarily supported this initiative to be a huge success.
According to the Forum’s Chairman, Hon Monday Diamond Ani who’s the Special Assistant to the Governor on Culture and Tourism; “We appreciate the Executive Governor of Enugu State, our father and boss for appointing us to serve under his administration, we equally thank those who have supported this initiative to make it a success. In no due time,we will Publicly appreciate them by their names.
Special thanks to the Leadership of the Churches in Enugu State for their maximum co-operation and fervent prayers for the Governor and Enugu State at large.”
