The general saying that ‘one have never truely lived, until you must have done something for someone who may never repay you was further demonstrated on the 6th of October, 2021 by Comr. Ndum Loveth,

Deputy Coordinator, Ezeagu Youth Assembly when she stormed some schools in Ezeagu local government area of Enugu State to distribute free school items to the pupils.

During the programme tagged: ‘Ezeagu Rural kids back to School project’ the students selected from some public primary schools in the three development centres in Ezeagu received exercise books, pens and pencils, while the best students in each of the visited schools got school bags too.

Miss Ndum said the project is aimed at alleviating the hardship some of the parents will likely face purchasing these items, no thanks to the harsh economy and exorbitant prices of items in the market.

She stressed that this is a new session and these items are mandatory for these students hence, the timing.

Asked about what motivated her to embark on the project, Miss Ndum said the smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries makes her happy while revealing that she has been doing this since she finished her National Youth Service.

The Deputy Coordinator of Ezeagu Youth Assembly who was accompanied by some Members of the Assembly revealed that over 1000 pupils benefited from the project.

She also commended the giant strides of the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in education sector. She also thanked some political leaders from Ezeagu and other individuals that supported her in no small way in executing the project.
