The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and her candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, in the ongoing Anambra Governorship election, has won has won Njikoka local government area.
Njikoka is the Council area of the deputy governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke who defected to the All Progressives Congress less than one month to the poll.
JOURNALIST101 had reported that Dr. Okeke was beaten in his Polling Unit by APGA.
From the result announced in the local government collation Centre around 3:30am on Sunday, 7th November, Soludo’s APGA garnered 8803 votes to win the local government area.
Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) followed with 3, 409 votes, while Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came third with 3, 216 votes.
