The Abia State government is inviting all the traders at Ahia Ohuru (New Market) that are temporarily displaced due to the ongoing redevelopment of the market by the State Government.
In a special announcement by the Ministry of Trades and investment, the meeting is going to be between the Hon. Commissioner, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and other top government officials.
The announcement signed Mrs Lucky Meregini, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry said that the affected traders in Lines 1, 2 and 3. Others are market committee members of Ngwa Road Market and the Managing Director of Peacock Urban Regeneration Corporation Ltd are expected to be in the meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, December 6th, 2021 at Date: Monday, 6th December, 2021 at Westgate Hall, Hotel Du Golf, 1-3 Margaret Avenue, Old GRA, Umungasi Aba by 12 noon.

Abia State Ministry of Trade and Investment invites all traders temporarily displaced in New Market (Ahia Ohuru) along Ngwa Road, Aba, as a result of the phase 1 of ongoing redevelopment work there to a crucial meeting with the Honourable Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and other top government officials.
Those expected at the meeting are affected traders in Lines 1, 2 and 3. Others are market committee members of Ngwa Road Market and the Managing Director of Peacock Urban Regeneration Corporation Ltd.
