CSP Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq, a Divisional Police Officer who was whisked away by kidnappers about a week ago has been rescued by operatives of the Edo state police command.
The news of his freedom was made public by PRNigeria which said his rescue was after the arrest of some suspects by police operatives under the Command of CP Philip Aliyu Ogbadu.
Ishaq, a Divisional Police Officer in charge Fugar, was kidnapped around Ise river along old Auchi–Ekperi- Agenebode road in Edo State last week.
The kidnappers had contacted the family of the police officer for ransom payment.
