Ahead of today’s emergency sitting on the case between Nnamdi Kanu and the Federal Government, the lawyers to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafran IPOB, have arrived the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The legal team, led by Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor, arrived the court as early as 8am with over 50 others already inside the court room.
However, unlike the previous proceedings, security is relaxed from the Court’s main gate to that of the Court door.
But for the presence of Kanu’s lawyers, there has been nothing to suggest that the IPOB leader would be brought to court.
At the time of this report, it could not be ascertained if the detained Biafran leader would appear in court physically.
Sources, including Kanu’s lawyer said the IPOB leader’s application for bail would be entertained by Justice Binta Nyako later in the day after attending to regular matters slated for the day.
According to DAILY POST, the Judge has instructed that the court room be cleaned before Kanu’s matter would be called
