Ebere Amaraizu, a Chief Superintendent of Police has revealed that with the crop of coaches on ground in Nigeria, there will be great turn around in sports development and growth in Nigeria.

Amaraizu who’s also the National Coordinator of Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices, POCACOV, made the revelation on Saturday at the National institute for Sports, NIS in Abuja, shortly after their passing out from coaching course in the institute.

“These crop of coaches trained and certified by the institute are ever ready to make great contributions and inputs in sporting development considering the level of the training program we underwent.

“It was really a nice experience, knowing a whole lot of things as a coach and passing through them. It was not an easy task all day long here but discipline is the watchword here and same as a coach that you will pass to your players and Athletes.

Amaraizu isn’t a new name in sports as he had led a team that broke the Rangers international fc record of dominance of State FA Cup. His team; Crime Busters beat Rangers international fc Enugu by 2 goals to 1 in 2018 Enugu state Aiteo cup finals and became the state champion. That victory qualified the football club to play in the Nation wide league one.

Amaraizu is currently the south East director of the Nation wide league one (NLO) and the chairman Enugu state Taekwondo Association as well as vice chairman Enugu state Boxing Board.

He has the honour and award of the pillar of sports in Enugu state by the then commissioner for youth and sports, Hon Charles Ndukwe and Ofo Chidi Okenwa (Late).
