Funeral rites of the late Karibi Fubara began on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, bringing family and friends together for a night of tributes in his honour.
Everyone came out dressed in white to remember the Nollywood actor who lost the battle to cancer back on December 15, 2021.
At the event, a host of well wishers from a wide section of society, including dignitaries as well as representatives of the Actors guild in the country joined family members, friends, colleagues and associates to eulogise the deceased, describing his death as painful.
All took to the stage to speak glowingly about Late Karibi Fubara whom the majority said had a fighting spirit and never gave up until his last breath. He was always joyful, full of faith and encouraged others around him to be the same way.
Celebrity Couple, Banky W and Adesua Etomi among others, performed an eponymous song in honour of the Actor.
Karibi who died at the age of 46, left behind his beautiful wife and Nollywood stylist extraordinaire, Yolanda Okereke as well as parents, siblings and friends.
