The city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital was thrown into confusion Thursday afternoon following a bloody armed robbery attack on a Bullion Van Idi-Ape area.
According to eyewitness report, the heavily armed robbers shot sporadically into the air, demobilised both the Bullion Van which belongs to one of the banks in the area and killed about two policemen before making away with the cash inside the van.
Other road users where also wounded by stray bullets just as a motorcycle rider was seen struggling with his dear life after the deadly attack.
As at the time of filing this report, security operatives have been mobilized to the area.
