No fewer than 22 persons have been kidnapped by bandits who attacked Idon town in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna in the early hours of Wednesday.
In a report by The Punch, four victims were injured during the attack that took place around 12:30am.
A source revealed to The Punch that the criminals shot sparodically while they operated from house to house.
The source said; “We don’t know how they came but we just heard them shooting, breaking doors and windows. They came at about 12.30 early in the morning”.
Although police authorities in the state are yet to confirm the attack, the Supervisory Councilor in charge of Admin, Finance and Health, Kajuru Local Government Area of the state, Bala Jonathan, identified the victims.
