President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Sunny S. Echono, as the new Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).
Untill his appointment, Echono was the immediate past Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
This was made known in a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations of the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr. Ben Goong, in Abuja on Friday.
The statement disclosed that Echono will take over from Prof. Sulaiman Elias Bogoro whose 5-year tenure ends on 18th March 2022.
Echono is an “accomplished technocrat, with a diverse wealth of experience spanning Infrastructure, business administration, procurement management, ICT, and the education sectors”, the statement said.
