A former commissioner for Special Duties in Enugu State, Prince Sam Ejiofor is dead.
The grassroot politician reportedly died on 11th March, 2022 after a protracted illness.
Ejiofor’s death was announced by the President General of Mgbogodo Autonomous Community Town Union, Engr Ikechukwu Ani.
He wrote: “On behalf of Mgbogodo Autonomous Community Agbani, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, the town union joins the entire Ejiofor family to announce the untimely death of a great leader and political icon, Prince Sam Ejiofor (Ohamadike).”
Sam Ejiofor hails from Umuonwe village in Agbani, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The late Ejiofor rose to political prominence during the time of former Governor, Dr. Chimaraoke Nnamani who first appointed him as Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and a strong force in the Ebeano politcial family.
