Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has reportedly opened talks to buy a new football club after selling off Chelsea Football club.

The Russian billionaire had put Chelsea up for sale after he was hit with sanctions by the UK government following his alleged ties with Russian President over the Russia Invasion of Ukraine.

Turkish publication Fanatik reports that, the Russian is apparently keen to remain within the football industry and has now started negotiations to buy Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe, as the country is not imposing sanctions on Russians.

Goztepe are currently in the relegation zone of the Turkish league as they sit eight points above relegation zone.
