The senator representing Ebonyi Central, Senator Obinna Ogba, has said that’s his chances of picking the he’s ready to make Ebonyi State people smile again after years of pain and anguish.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Youths and Sports was besieged by a mammoth crowd from Ebonyi State that thronged Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu to welcome him after he picked his expression of interest and nomination forms of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Speaking with journalists at the airport on his chances of picking the ticket of his party, the former council and Ebonyi PDP chairman said he’s confident of picking the party’s ticket going by his wealth of experience in politics. He added that his joining the race is in response to the yearnings of his people.
“My Chances are as bright as anything you can think of. By my wealth of experience in politics, I know the right chords to strike and I’m confident I will emerge the flag bearer of my party.
“I’m presenting myself to my people in response to their calls for me to bring my knowledge in governance for the betterment of the state.”
Senator Ogba is a seasoned politician from the ‘Salt of the Nation’ state. A two term Senator who defeated the incumbent Governor to emerge the candidate of the PDP for Ebonyi Central senatorial district in 2014.
