A Federal High Court in Abuja has rescheduled the judgement in the suit seeking to sack the Cross River Governor, Ben Ayande and his Deputy, Ivara Esu.

The suit is seeking to sack the governor and his Deputy their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The presiding Judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo had earlier scheduled the judgment for March 25, 2022.

When The Nation visited the court this morning, its was indicated on the cause list that the judgement would now be rendered on April 6.

Recall that the PDP had in a suit marked: FHC/ABI/CS/975/2021 dragged Ben Ayade and Ivara Esu to court over their defection to the APC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the APC were also listed as defendants in the suit.
