Former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi has disclosed that he’s is afraid of the current governor of his state, Nyesom Wike.
Amaechi made this known while speaking to Channels Television when he was asked if he was going back to Rivers state to wrestle power with Wike in 2023.
The Minister of Transport started by saying, “My eyes are here. This is my home now. Abuja is now my home and my governor is the minister of the FCT. I live and do business here.”
When asked of his plans of going back to Rivers, he said for now, he will remain in the FCT but when the time comes, he will know whether to go back or not.
When asked if he’s afraid of Wike, his response was, “Yes. I’m very afraid of him. I’m very afraid.
On Why he’s afraid of Wike, he said; “Because I’m a ‘fear fear man’ now”.
Amaechi who found humor in the question added by saying “What’s your problem? When we get to the bridge we’ll cross the bridge”.
