The Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, has said that it has suspended its operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route temporarily.
This was contained in a terse statement on Twitter, on Tuesday morning.
“Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, Train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended,” the statement said.
“Further Communication would be given in due course” it added.
Recall that terrorists had on Monday attacked an Abuja-Kaduna bound train, leaving scores of passengers injured after the attack.
