Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will on be hosting Senators on the platform of the All Progressives Congress to Iftar, on Tuesday.
This was announced by Senate President Ahmad Lawan at plenary, when he read a letter on invitation by the vice president.
Also, a letter read by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Ahmed Wase, on Tuesday during plenary says that Osibanjo will also meet with members of the All Progressives Congress caucus of the green chambers at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa for the breaking of the Ramadan fast (Iftar) on Wednesday.
This is coming in less than 48hours after the vice president declared his intention to contest for President in 2023 and also hosted APC governors to Iftar to seek their support for his presidential ambition.
JOURNALIST101 had reported that Osibanjo had on Monday morning declared his intention to contest for the office of the president in the 2023 presidential election.
