Four student of Zamfara State College of Health Science and Technology that were abducted by bandits have been freed.
This was made known by the Deputy Provost of the college, Jamilu Lawali during a hone conversation with Channels Television on Thursday evening.
According to Lawali, no ransom was paid to secure the release of the four female students of the school.
He said, “They were released this evening at a location close to Tsafe town, the school did not pay a dime for their release,” he said.
Upon their release, the students were taken to the hospital for medical attention.
JOURNALIST101 had reported that Five female students of the school living off campus were abducted by bandits on Tuesday in Tsafe town, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State after the terrorists raided Tsafe town on Tuesday night.
One of the five abducted was able to escape while four were taken to an undisclosed location by the terrorists.
