Former Governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has officially dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
This was disclosed by former DG of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Support Group AbdulMumin Jibrin, who recently joined the NNPP.
A tweet by Jibrin reads, “BREAKING- Sen Ibrahim Shekarau joins NNPP. Details later.”
The NNPP also posted a picture of Shekarau and former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, sitting together on the platform.

Recall that the ex-governor, has been at loggerheads with Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, for the control of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State.
