AWKA- The Governor Of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo today Thursday 19th May 2022 presented a revised budget of 169, 621, 744, 131billion naira to the Anambra State House of Assembly.
The budget which was tagged; “taking off from the blocks: the Solution Budget” as against the approved 141.9billion for the past immediate governor Willie Obiano presented on Thursday, October 14, 2021, tagged; “Continuity, Sustainability and Development of a New Anambra” was received with mixed reaction.
Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo in his speech stated that the purpose of the 2022 revised budget is to reflect current realities, challenges and priorities of the new administration and Ndi-anambra.
“We are working on a mixture of financing options. In the main time, the dire need of Ndi-anambra and our transformation cannot wait.
“As promised, we hit the ground running from day one, putting in 8hours, 45 minutes on the first day, reflecting the humongous challenges facing the state as well as our full consciousness that ours is an agenda with a deadline.
